Value Cards

Can we please stop with the value card crap? Can't I go anywhere anymore that I don't get asked if I'm in the "Fresh Values" club or "Borders Book saver card" or some shit?

Seriously. If the average consumer had to walk around with a value card for every store they may or may not visit, they would resemble a jailer with a giant keyring of thin plastic bullshit. Don't corporate people that think up this giant hassle every actually shop?

Another crappy trend is "the Greeter"

This is a stupid concept where stores put usless people that have half a brain to "greet you" as you walk in the store and ask if they can help you find anything. If I need help finding something, I'm pretty sure I could ask. These are usually the same stores that have a fucking tv monitor showing a hidden camera video of you walking in. Which, when you think about it, basically the greeter should say, "Hi! Welcome to SuperMart! Can I help you find anything? We're watching you fucker. We already have zero trust that there is an honest shopper alive. I hope you already feel like a criminal while you shop."

Then they wouldn't have to spend all that money on TV monitors and Value cards, would they?
